Love is..

Imagine that you're in a class and you really can't understand your lessons no matter how hard you try. And the finals week is fast approaching. What will you do? You have two options here. Whether to ask for a tutor, or try hard to study the lesson on your own.

That's what we are when it comes to love. Most of us, doesn't really understand what real love is. This world has given us a lot of meaning of love. Our mind is polluted with so many lies about love. We need a tutor to help us understand what true love is. That is God. He is the best love guru of all.

There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends. (John 15:13)

Once we understand this great love for us of God that's the only time when we can really love others. And what I mean with that is your special someone.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

 It is one of the famous bible verses ever. And it is one of my favorite bible verses. These gives us account on how to love others. And we really need to understand this verse by verse.

I guess the line on the rocks is familiar to you? That's the moment when the relationship is not in good terms. Many couples end up broken when the time of testing comes. Why? Because they don't really know what real love is. They end up being carried away with their emotions, thus making decisions that will only hurt them.

So in order not to fail the test, we really need to have a tutor. Someone who will let us understand this hard subject called love. And I recommend you God. He is the best teacher when it comes to love!

When we understand God's unconditional love for us and once we have understood well what love is, rest assured that we can handle any storm that will come in our way.
